rate "Bare Trees"
Bare Trees is my favorite pre BN album. I LOVE it so hoere's how I'd rate it.
Child of Mine- 9.5 The Ghost- 9.5 Homeward Bound- 10 Sunny Side of Heaven- 8.5 Bare trees- 9 Sentimental Lady- 9 Danny's Chant- 5 Spare Me A Little- 7 Dust- 10 0verall- 8.7

Child Of Mine--9.5
The Ghost--7 (down the list of my favorite Bob Welch tunes) Homeward Bound--8.5 Sunny Side Of Heaven--(on a scale of 1 to 10) 20!!!! (The best thing Danny ever did...with FM or after)  Bare Trees---7.5 ("Station Man" rehashed a third time..."Sands Of Time" on Future Games was second) Sentimental Lady---8.5 (better live as first half of medley with "Future Games"...even better on "French Kiss") Danny's Chant---8 (the intro makes an expectation the rest of the song doesn't deliver; but it's worth putting up with the rest of the song just for it.) Spare Me A Little Of Your Love---10 Dust---8 Thoughts On A Grey Day--talk about "wasted space"  Add 'em up, divide by 9 equals an average score of 9.6 I just wonder what this album would've sounded like had the original mixes not been erased at JFK airport in 1972.

The Ghost-6 Homeward Bound-9 Sunny Side of Heaven-8 Bare Trees-8 Sentimental Lady-10 Danny's Chant-5 Spare Me A Little Of Your Love-10 Dust-10 I'm not even going to rate that poem at the end. I wish they had put a song on the end instead. Total-8.1 I really like Bare Trees. It's my second favorite Bob Welch era Fleetwood Mac album, after Mystery To Me. I think Spare Me A Little was Christine's first great song that she wrote-I love it and Dust is my favorite Danny Kirwin song. Sentimental Lady & Hypnotized are my favorite Bob Welch songs. I'd just like to get rid of that poem at the end.

I love Bare Trees! One of my fave Mac albums!!!
Child Of Mine-10 The Ghost-9.5 Homeward Bound-10 (I love just this song) Sunny Side of Heaven-10 ( would give it a 20 like chiliD) Bare Trees-9 Sentimental Lady-10 Danny's Chant-8 Spare Me A Little Of Your Love-10 Dust-10 Thoughts on a Grey Day-5(I don't mind it. Though I do wish they could have put another song at the end) well the average came out to 9.15 but I say 9.5! I love this album Why couldn't I be alive to see them live back then??!!!!!!!! -April

Mystery To Me is the best Welch Era Album !!!!
Every song is a mystical experience !!!! The average grade I give Bare Trees is an A - !!!!
