Talking Mirage LP

Well I bought the original concept artwork for the 1982 Fleetwood Mac MIRAGE LP. There were several different designs that were made; including one that had the Earth on the cover (in reference to Eyes of the World). But all of them were canned and the famous dance pose was picked. Not really sure WHY they picked that one...the artwork I have it much cooler, and fits with the title. I bought this from a guy (who's name escapes me) who worked for the band. His name is even mentioned in the Chain Boxed set. I also showed it to Ken Caillat, who recognized it. Here it is:

It is cool that you have that...but I have to say I'm glad they didn't use it for the Mirage Album. JMO though

Wow! That is some cool artwork, Brian! I still prefer the actual Mirage cover as it is... but as a stand alone piece yours is nice.

My faves are my Buckingham/Nicks Album and my autographed promo poster of the Timespace cover. I bought that from Barbara Nicks' shop, too, that is no longer open.

Stevie memorabilia ?

The autographed article from US magazine that Stevie and Mick signed at the AHI benefit. I just have so much stuff. Lots of CDs photos, and posters, etc

What item of Stevie Nicks' did you enjoy seeing on display the most at your nearest Hard Rock Cafe or elsewhere ?
Well the closest Hard Rock to me is in Boston. There is a blue dress of Stevie's on display.
I have a picture of the cape from the Phoenix Hard Rock. I will try and post the photo. I don't know if it will show up. If not I am going to put the photo on my web site and post the link.

Thumbs up

My favorites among MY collection.........gatefold Buckingham/Nicks album, promo posters, all their Rolling Stone Magazines, tourbooks, tons of bootleg concerts, my personal concert memories.

My favorites at a Hard Rock Cafe..........Hard Rock Cleveland: Stevie's autographed guitar that she used to write the Wild Heart songs......and a blue velvet cape of hers, also autographed on the inside.....

What I would have given to have nobody watching me THAT day so I could make off with those when I left!!!! (drool)

I agree that cape display at the Phoenix Hard Rock is the coolest. Pattie, were you at the Hard Rock on the day after AHI this year? If you were, do you remember seeing two people you remembered from the afterparty there? One of them was me I remember seeing someone I recognized from the afterparty taking a picture of the cape and I wondered if it could have been you?
My favorite memorabilia is from AHI too~it's the POTU single Stevie autographed for me. I love it because it reminds me of that fabulous night and of getting to talk to Stevie and her mom and dad. I also love my gatefold Buckingham Nicks album. Stevie and Lindsey look so young and innocent and beautiful! My other favorite is my Bob Masse AHI 2000 poster. I love that because that was my first Stevie show ever and the poster is a great reminder of the excitement of that time and trip.
