I was never a big fan of the demo of the song but I do like the clip of this duet. It sounds like they had a good time recording it. For two 70+ year olds….I will take it. I’m looking forward to getting the 2CD set next week.

The song is so mid-80s with all its excesses. I can picture a music video of Stevie almost in the TV show Dynasty snorting coke every 5 minutes. Believe it or not I dont think the music track is that bad for a demo. I much prefer it to When I see you again. But that's not saying much. The most annoying part of the song is that annoying cat call that routinely makes an appearance in the song. It reminds me of that Mister Microphone commercial from the late 70s. "Hey good looking well be back to pick you up later"

This makes me so sad. I had myself convinced you were going to love this song David. I have the entire song and it is outstanding. I really love it. I have had the demo since the early 1990's and have always enjoyed it and this new version is wonderful. I love what they did with it. Now I have both versions of the songs to enjoy for the rest of my life.

How do you have the duet with Dolly if it doesn’t come out for four more days????

I would have loved “After the Glitter Fades.”

Well I never thought I’d make here to Dollywood…

In H/Dollywood not To H/Dollywood!

I can't believe someone has this new song in their possession before the release date... Internet Piracy!

Are you getting Dolly's album? A lot of talent on it: other than $. Nicks

Wouldn’t make sense for Dolly to say she never thought she’d make it IN a theme park she owns. However, it makes total sense for her to be in awe that her career got to the point where she owns a theme park.

I got you. I had Stevie singing the first verse. Of course it’s all joking but I’d hate if Stevie made Glitter Fades into a song that mentions Dollywood! Just like dropping Phantom of the Opera as a lyric in Listen To the Rain!
