Default Melbourne Symphony, 2006

Am I remembering correctly that there was some sort of drama here? Or a story at least. She recorded at least a show or two (and even pulled out “Beautiful Child” to perform with them. I think a couple of the tracks wound up on Crystal Visions, but was something more planned initially?

Default What happened

Hey,
I was at this show, it was magical with the symphony orchestra but there was either an issue with the first two songs in their recording or someone forgot to press record so Stevie did perform them again at the end of the show but was in her Beautiful Child dress so continuity wasn't going to be great. It was unfortunate that it wasn't on DVD, it was a great concert.

Outside the Rain & Dreams were re-recorded at the end of the show, due to technical issues. Stevie was actually wearing her Beauty and the Beast dress when she sang those two song over again. The MSO had promoted the DVD release (there was a flyer circulating), but it was scrapped.

The issue was that she had overdone the Botox injections and her forehead had fallen over her eyelids.
