Default Peter Green '71 with FM

This is "Purple Dancer" without Spencer.

This is a double length version of "Tell Me All The Things You Do". It's the same from concert San Bernadino CA. It's very early on the tour with PG in '71. Yet I think Peter lets it fly here, before the infamous Fillmore East show. Pete loved that wah pedal.

Most agree that the wah wah player is Danny. Greeny only plays rhythm guitar during this show (the first one of the tour).

Agree, dino, that's almost certainly Danny. In fact his wah wah playing is not nearly as imaginative as Peter's - and not surprisingly given Danny's style, I think it's clear on this recording that he did not have the improvisational skills that Peter had.

Remember that Peter had arrived from the UK just before the San Bernardino show (his first show back with the band), so the band barely had any time to familiarize him with their new songs. Peter is barely audible in many spots of this recording, as dino notes playing almost all rhythm guitar. He must have had to just feel his way through this show before he got familiar with the material, and I doubt that it's a very representative recording of the band during the period when Peter returned to complete that US tour.
