We shall now see if "Sara" is in as much danger as its supporters have believed it to be...

FYI - the voting deadline will probably be an hour or two later tomorrow (Saturday) night, because neither of us will be around at 9.
For the sake of clarity:

The deadline for the voting itself remains 9:00 EST. The TALLYING of the votes, immunity question, and beginning of the new round are what will be delayed.

Sorry for the confusion, folks.

Default rondje 5: sara

I adore the song. But I feel the need to punnish the vote-off's of That's All For Everyone and especially Not That Funny. That was shameful friends.

If Brown Eyes goes, I'll be happy too. So this is a comfortable round, thanks Sugar and HomerMcVie.

Dude, I didn't vote against "That's All For Everyone" OR "Not That Funny," and yet you're punishing me by voting against "Sara."

I'm glad "Sara" lasted longer this time around, but it's sadly still obvious that the song has no chance of lasting, since people are still voting against it out of spite. In my mind, it's beyond obvious that it's the best overall song on the album... musically, lyrically, production-wise, vocally, etc.
Which, of course, made it such a huge target.

It's funny that everyone's ranting and raving about how important it is to show support for Lindsey's risk-taking spirit on this album, while simultaneously admitting that Stevie's songs were brilliant.
Well, where's the Stevie love then? Is a brilliant song not worth saving? Or do we only reward theory rather than execution?
Tsk-tsk.

I guess I should have done that alliance thing to save it, but I just hated to vote for other favorites while trying to save another favorite. *sighs*
But I think after this round, I'm throwing "principles" out the door! I'm going to pick one favorite to push through to the end, and everything else is fair game.

Ah well... may "Sara" forever haunt each and every one of you who voted against her.

What makes you think you're the one?

No. I think Storms tops it on all levels.

That Tsk-tsk doesn't suit you johnny, although it is your style
My Stevielove is not to doubt. If these first rounds were not targeted at some of the best things on the album AND representators of the enormous brave move this band did after releasing the best-seller of all time, that love would have surfaced already. It really is NOT my choice to play the game like it's played now, but since I turned that knob I'm just glad that the unconditional devotion for Her Majesty is conquered by the I don't get what I deserve mentality of Mr. Underrated.
We're playing the game in their spirit, Johnny.

I suggest I Know I'm Not Wrong.

No thanks, I already have my own little demons.

Everytime Lindsey shouts "Tusk," I sing "TSK!" instead.

Seriously though, the "tsk" was all in good humour, my friend. Like I said, I have my favorites, and I'm pulling for them... but no matter what the outcome, the songs are still "alive and well" and can be enjoyed by anyone at any time.

Oh, and "I Know I'm Not Wrong" is definitely a song I'm pulling for.
But I'm keeping the other close to my vest, lest folks go after it.
