She is in the RRHOF to great acclaim and FM is on a hugely successful world tour.

Love the audience cheering when HS mentioned Lindsey.

I won't listen so can you explain what happened? I'm sure the audience knew what they were doing?

I havent listened to all of her acceptance speech.
But I thought she was referring to her solo band, the one she tours with.
Waddy, Jimmy, Sharon, Lori.
As I say I havent heard all of it (way too long)....so I could of missed
something..

I don't see the problem with "my band". What else could she say, it is HER band, as it is Christine's, Mick's and John's band. They all own the b(r)and.

I havent watched it either. Just read comments that people were cheering when Harry Styles mentioned Lindsey. I bet Nicks was ecstatic

She was talking about FM when she said my band.

Thats clearly not the problem here. Her band is not still together and thats because of her, right? She was taking a dig at Lindsey.

Christine and Mick confirmed it so theres nothing much to say.

She sounded crazy. We’re used to reading between her lines. Besides, we have heard most of her anecdotes already and we can easily fill in the information gaps between her inchoate sentences, but what did it sound like to the rest of the audience? Meandering doesn’t describe it.

And death to all potheads.

It may not be in the configuration some here might wish for, but the band IS still together. Still active, still touring, still hopefully recording someday, still in existence. As far as "my band" goes, one doesn't assume that everytime you hear someone say "my church", "my office", "my school"; that the person literally owns those things. Goodness, give the search for evil intent in every comment a rest.

She just had to get her dig in, didn't she? I was ready to be happy for her in spite of everything, but this spoiled it.

I wondered if she was a little tipsy. Maybe a little backstage celebrating going on?
