Default Lana Del Rey's new album Honeymoon

Has anyone else purchased this? I was not going to purchase it because I didn't like her last album at all, but then I heard two songs and ended buying the whole thing and I'm hooked. I love this album. I think it's her best. She really embraces the 1960s & 70s retro Godfather noir, and it really works. She has never sounded better. There are no fast songs on this album, it's just moody, atmospheric bliss.

Anyone want to share there thoughts on it? Like I said, I love it and have been playing it on repeat.

Born to Die & the Paradise EP still stand as her best works to me. I like a few songs from Ultraviolence and a few songs from Honeymoon, but I don't actually enjoy sitting through those albums in their entirety like I did with her first 2 releases.

Honeymoon has taken a while to grow on me, but I find that with each repeated listen, new songs catch my attention and captivate me. Lana is such a unique singer, I love that she's released her own album without bowing to any label pressure - no uptempo songs at all, no guest features, just her and her magnificent voice.

I gotta say, I think "24" would have made for the perfect Bond theme. The rumour is that she auditioned for the Bond theme with that song and was passed over for Sam Smith. Huge mistake, you can hear in the song exactly where those Bond strings could have been slotted in...

I freaking love Honeymoon but yeah it took me a few listens to really get into it. At first it was a bit of a sleeper but now I am hooked! My favorite songs are High By The Beach, Music to Watch Boys To, Freak, Art Deco and my absolute favorite is The Blackest Day. That song is pure perfection for me.
Lana can do no wrong in my eyes. Its funny that most of my friends have no idea who she is because they don't really play her songs on the radio but she's huge though ya know? I saw Honeymoon debuted at #2 so I was a bit disappointed I expected #1 but I don't think her label could have anticipated Drake & Future dropping a surprise album the same week.

Religion, 24, The Blackest Day, Salvatore, Art Deco are my favorite songs, but the whole album is good
