Hits Daily Double Sales Chart is final and places the album at no. 6!! The chart is usually fairly reflective of the Billboard chart. The album should enter the Billboard 200 in the top 10 for its first week.

It's #1 in my heart, and that's the only chart that matters.

oh yes times one billion to that
Back when I started the Buckingham McVie thread I knew inside this was gonna be special.
If I called the shots this would sell like Adele, but regardless I know this will reach the audience it needs to and I'm grateful for this album.

It's about being an artist. Not just for the artists' own personal need to create and grow, but to reach out and connect to an audience. The joy the music brings to people's lives. Inspiration to others to develop their own craft. So yeah, although we'd love for this record to be a commercial success, we all know it's so much more than that.

hey in the UK it beat Katy Perry (who is way ahead on US Billboard for their opening week) so that's not bad!!

Am I the only one who does hear JOY in this album, but didn't hear joy in SYW?

This album makes me smile from ear to ear. I love it so much!

Say You Will always felt like a tortured project to me, and perhaps worse, it didn't feel like a Fleetwood Mac album to me, rather a Buckingham Nicks album with a great backing band

I'm also not sure that Stevie's songs would be up to the standards we've gotten on this album. For me, this is the Fleetwood MAC album I've been waiting 30 years for and I couldn't be happier.

No doubt this is an upbeat joy album. Love it.
However Say You Will and In the Meantime are both excellent even though they are a bit darker in writing and music. Illume is probably as dark and raw as you can get. It fit perfectly on the album and for that era. Lindsey is a genius to take those raw emotional lines and not turn them into some simple pop song. The song is unpredictable, provoking, and unnerving just like 9/11 was. There definitely is some anger on Say You Will. Even positive Christine turned angry for Liar and Bad Journey.
So while the feelings and tones of the albums are different. Each one is a masterpiece IMHO.

We had a pool party yesterday and the album is so upbeat it really worked.

People loved it. Some younger peeps didn't even know who FMac was and they liked the music.
