I love being at receiving end of the Gorgeous One's smile!

Hopefully I will be at receiving end a few more times before the year is out!

A lot of you may have seen this video, but the first half of this video is hands down the funniest video of Lindsey I have ever seen.

http://

I sounds like someone is telling a little kid what to yell to Lindsey when he's up on stage. Even Lindsey thinks it's funny, and the expression on his face when he talks to the kid is priceless. I love the way Lindsey handles the crowd and makes some really good jokes of his own. It's one of the few videos that makes me laugh whenever I watch it.

Heart

He's so sweet when he's unsure of himself...

I love the little giggle, after a fan says "You better play it, Lindsey". And his voice when he says, "yes", after being thanked by another fan

I love how he always makes this big disclaimer about how it might be "a little rough" and how he's "unprepared" but then it turns out to be this gorgeous, perfect piece of music that everybody is completely enthralled by. Oh Lindsey, don't ever change you slightly insecure perfectionist, you.

Default Reactions from LB

I, probably like most people that attended a Meet and Greet with LB, were too wired emotionally to have a compelling or memorable dialog with him. However, I can recall two incidents that prompted a reaction from LB during concerts. The first was during the Say You Will tour in Grand Rapids in 2003. We were lucky enough to get front row seats on a Saturday. The next day was Father's Day, and between songs I belted out "Happy Fathers Day, Lindsey." He had a stunned look of silence, as if wondering, of all the things a rock star sees and hears during a concert, this is a first.

The second time was at the filming of the Songs from the Small Machine DVD. LB came out before the concert and advised that they might have to perform some songs twice for the taping (which they did not have to do). After In Our Own Time, There was a quiet time while,LB was changing guitars, so I belted out "You need to sing that one again!" This prompted a genuine laugh out loud moment by LB.

As most have pointed out and is evident in the videos, LB is a lot more relaxed on the solo tours. Even though he is a perfectionist and sticks to the same "canned" intro/dialog, he will interact with the crowd. I think people get a sense of his real personality during these moments.

Talking Something I remember

When I saw Lindsey in Clearwater, FL a few years ago, he was so fascinated with the light hitting his guitar and making a cool symbol or whatever on the wall. LOL It was a cute moment because he was just like a little kid in awe.

among those videos of the whole FM show in Stockholm, there's also this cute interaction:

can anybody hear which song was requested (and he did a tiny little bit of it)?

This picture reminds me of the concert we saw in April 2013. We had a meet and greet with Mick and front row seats for the concert. I am a huge huge FM fan and have been for 40 years. This was the best night of my life. And having seen them numerous times before, I was still beside myself with these front row tickets. As it turned out, we were right at Lindsay's feet and I stood with my hands on the stage, almost on top of his set list, for the entire show. My husband is 6'3" so he stood right behind me. I just stares at Lindsay in complete awe. About 1/2 way through the show, I'm singing and dancing and I happen to look around and everyone was looking at me. I looked up at Lindsay and he was looking at me and saying "what?????, what???" This was while Stevie was singing. I was totally dumbfounded and stood like a deer in the headlights because I had no idea why he was asking me this in the middle of the song and I had NO idea what I had done. I finally turned around to ask my husband what was happening and I realized he was pointing at me for Lindsay and saying "#1 fan, #1 fan!" I just about passed out.
Well, later when he was over to one side and sitting on the stage and listening to Mick's drum solo, my husband tapped me on the shoulder and told me to look over at Lindsay. I did and he waved and gave me a thumbs up!!! He just seemed to really be enjoying himself. I was in heaven! Now that's connecting with your audience and fans!!!
I love this thread. I'm quite new to this but it's so much fun to read.
