Fill in the blank:The thing that surprises me the most about the Boston DVD is...
Hopefully it will be something positive, but whatever floats your boat.....
The thing that surprises me the most about the Live In Boston DVD is: That 'Gyspy' is one of my favorite moments. |

The thing that surprises me most about the Boston DVD is...
...that it's so good, I can sit down and watch it all the way through without skipping a single song.

The thing that surprises me most about the DVD is how great Stand Back is - I didn't think it could compare to actually seeing it live, but WOW! Paula |

The thing that surprises me most is that the production is really bad. I mean, they sound fine, but the video production? A major disappointment, in my opinion.

How transcendental Beautiful Child was for me.
How much i noticed that Lindsey's eyes are actor-expressive How during Stand Back, arguably my most favorite favorite, had me thinking, "I need to hear it again live, I need the thrumming to envelope me" basically it was too quiet for me when heard this way. (Do not have good T.V., so..) |

This may seem trivial and we should all be so over this but I was really surprised that Stevie was wearing her frankenboks through most of the show! Even on the picture on the inside of the cover where she's posing with one leg up on the drum riser she has the frankenboks on, yet the shot of that same pose on the dvd is with the boots......what's up with that.
P.S. I'm new here....So hi everyone! I'm also known as CanFan on Mick's board. |

Not that he's vying for close-ups, but did anyone else feel like John was a little jipped? I guess he probably doesn't catch the eyes of the camera crew too much since he barely moves, but he is the bass legend here, people!!! I did love that they captured his big smile when Mick introduced him, though.

I watched it last night from start to finish and it was just amazing. The thing that surprises me is how much more raw and free they seem to be. They seem to be having so much fun.

Nothing really surprised me in terms of the quality, look, sound.. etc. I was expecting something pretty spectacular - and I think I got it. And I love it.
I guess a couple of things did surprise me and that would be some of Stevie's close ups... (knowing that Tango and Red Rocks closeups were re-shot to improve her looks), I thought "way to go Stevie" for just letting the camera capture the real thing..... And the second thing was that we have this dvd in the first place!... It's just been a phenomenal couple of years for us fans and to have this dvd to keep as a reminder of a great couple of years is just over the top - and something I think we can all look back on with great memories... |
