my thoughts exactly. campers version of tusk is different and unique, but also in line with the themes and musical identities that made tusk so special.

of course the american idol debauchery of go your own way is the worst. my TV was lucky it lasted through the broadcast....

I don't have a favorite Mac cover though I would choose "Walk A Thin Line" from The Visitor, but that doesn't really count -- so I'll try to check out Blake Babies' version. Songbird is pretty though, undoubtedly. I'd like to hear Iris DeMent do a Mac song!

Hearing The Visitor many times recently got me to thinking: Mick should release an Island Rumours Band album; would offer the chance for some nice "covers" there.
