Yeah, on one hand he has that bloated look he had for the Dance, where his face was fleshy and lost definition.

On the other hand, he kind of reminds me of a pugilist, especially with that facial expression. A guy who spent years in the ring. It's like Lindsey meets Mickey Rourke and in that sense, where there is a "toughness" and defiant look to him, I do oddly like it a little.

I don't mind the look either. I think he came across ( looks-wise ) better in videos more than photos though at that time. Also, since he's still pretty thin there, I always wondered if the face bloating was due to som Rx meds.

I think anybody can agree that Lindsey could stand to put on a little weight, so any bloated look isn't generally viewed badly. But I guess with his past problems it is hard to know what's just general wear/tear/not looking after himself and what's illness.

I think it looks really good there. I think it is receding these days, but for the most part LB looks hot for his age. I know I rag on him for wearing the same exact outfit and hairstyle for the past decade. But I still love him. He's embraced his old age with dignity and doesn't look like a frozen-faced, botox-obsessed, plastic surgeon's lab rat.

I wondered the same thing, that the bloating had to do with some kind of meds.

He is still a hot old guy, and could really use to change things up a bit, but other than that, you're right with what you said. He's getting old, yes, but at least he didn't pull a Joan Rivers.

I think in 1997 he was definitely heavier all around and it showed in the face. I don't think it was just his face being bloated. When they filmed Classic Albums around the same time you could tell that he wore that black baggy shirt because he was heavier and his face was big there too. He sure did lose that weight quick though and has managed to keep it off. Kudos to him. All around great shape for someone over 60. Hell even for someone over 40.
