You need to grab yourself a copy, sir. I was big time impressed and I honestly don't have a bad word to say about the album. The lyrics are amazing...music is spot on. You will love it

Okay, naming only ten is a bit easier than five but still hard nonetheless!

My top ten:

Think About Me
Brown Eyes
Honey Hi
Wish You Were Here
Hold Me
Temporary One
Say You Love Me
Oh Daddy
Songbird
Warm Ways

Well, this is just for now. The list would change. Also, Calumny would be on this list, but I'm dropping it because she didn't write it.

Hold Me
Think About Me
Say You Love Me
Over My Head
Isn't it Midnight

Oh...did you say only 10? Then these are all tied for the Top 10.
Yes! All "ten" of these, including everything on In the Meantime. I'm bad with numbers. Is Too Much is Not Enough too much of a stretch? And I'd add Keep on Going. She didn't write the lyrics, but she sang it. I love her version of Roll With Me Henry and pretty much forgot she covered I Can't Help Falling in Love with You (what album was that on?).

I'm glad to see Friend on many of the lists. That song sounds like it should have been on a Fleetwood Mac album.

Wow, when you look at a big list like that you really have to appreciate just how consistently good she is. Some a little stronger than others but I think I like just about all her output depending on my mood.

I'm not sure she's ever written anything less than 7 out of 10.

It's interesting that Don't Stop is probably her biggest hit, yet no one chose it.

Anyway...(and whittling it down to 10 is really hard)

Over and Over (I love both versions, but I love when Stevie and Lindsey sing "let me down again" on the live version, it sill gives me chills)
Honey Hi
Love in Store
Hold Me
Over My Head
Sugar Daddy
Say You Love Me
You Make Loving Fun
Songbird
One More Night

Kevin

Is the general consensus here that In the Meantime is a good/great CD? I was so excited ( no pun intended) when it came out but I only listened to it one or two times. I just couldn't get into it at all. Maybe it's time for me to give another listen.

What I love about Christine is that she has always been great.

Stevie was the best in the 70s to late 80s. What happened from 1990 til 2010? I don't really know. She was great on the Dance, but singing old songs. I loved in your dreams and hope this new one will be classic stevie.

Lindsey had a few moments in the 70s, but I prefer his work from The Dance on wards. In the 70s it seemed like his biggest talent was in helping Stevie with her songs. It's a shame his own songs didn't turn out as well.

Christine never really had a washed up moment. Sure there are songs better then others, but she is more consistent. Plus, she is more independent. Talented in other areas. She doesn't need a producer the same way Stevie does.

It's like most albums. Two or three great songs. Most are good to ok, 'I won't skip it.' And a few are like wtf? So as a whole? I'd give it 3.5/5 stars. I like it better then the 1985 album, much better.
I found the album sounded better when paired with the best 12 songs of say you will.
