Default Am I the only one who loves Stephanie from BN?

Stephanie is a song I just can't get enough of which is so odd because I have never enjoyed songs without lyrics. I just love it. I feel like I am being taken to heaven when I listen to it! When I listen to the song it is almost magical, isn't that strange?

You are not alone here. Buckingham Nicks is a great album.

I love 'Frozen Love', 'Crying in the Night', and 'Races are Run'.

'Lola' is the song I like least.

I like Stephanie, but to me it can't ever compare to "Sunny Side of Heaven."

Now THAT'S a song! I am not a huge fan of instumentals either, but SSOH is one of the best.

I love that song. BN is a flawless album... But, I agree with Shamus, compared to Sunny Side of Heaven, Stephanie pales in comparrison, but it's still a great song.

I love the instrumentals. I wish they did more of them.

"Stephanie" is so pure, sweet, and beautiful. Whenever I hear it, it just makes me smile. And yes, I am definitely one of those people who thinks that it sounds exactly like NGBA.

I'm usually not a big fan of instrumentals but I love Stephanie.

"Stephanie" is a beautiful, sweet little song. I love when Stevie tells the story of Lindsey not having a title for the song and her suggesting her name.

I just downloaded it off of the Buckingham Nicks site and I LOVE it! I, unlike most of you, like instrumental stuff, and this is pretty good.

I downloaded 'Frozen Love' last week and love it too. I'm debating whether or not to download all of the songs on BN and burning them on a CD or holding out hope for a remastered release. What do you guys think?

I think that the album is so GREAT that you shouldn't wait... The remastered re-releasing has been postponed so many times that I don't believe it's ever going to happen. And if it happens, you'll get the tracks with a much better sound quality and with nice liner notes and packaging, go figure. But until that happens, just enjoy the music, which in this album is perfect.

"Stephanie" is a great example of that.

It's an instrumental from 1971's Bare Trees, written by Danny Kirwan (I think). It's a gorgeous song
