I'm actually not impressed with LB's playing. He doesn't really sparkle like he does on guitar. He plays notes.

Well, the point of THAT playing was to rehearse harmonies, not impress. And $he couldn't even stay on the tonic, singing.

Are you saying Old Goat Breath could have played what he played???

He plays well. Not with distinction, but very competently--which is no small task. He can play bass fairly well, too. His drumming leaves, in Christine's words, "something to be desired."
