Default What Record Label?

I wonder what label they will use for the Duet album? Could go with LB own label, Mind Kit Records, but I doubt Mick and John would like that

Thoughts?

I am so happy for this and SN could goi away and I wouldnt care, never liked her to begin with

It's not their band.

Maybe work out a deal with Warner Brothers.

You never know with these things. They would have to tour to promote.

Could go a number of different ways. Since Warner Bros. has their entire catalog, that's still a very real possibility, but I hope that's not the case.....the label did nothing for "Say You Will" or either of Stevie's last two albums. I don't see anything changing for this one, especially since it's not The Five.

The indie route is an option, but I think the three Brits are too old school for that.

Even though he's pretty much out of the day to day running of the label, Jimmy Iovine still has clout at Interscope, so they can't be ruled out. They came THIS close to getting SYW.

Clive Davis still considers FM one of the few bands who got away.....I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to get RCA to throw their hat in the ring (though I think they would have little to no chance of coming out victorious).

With both T Bone Burnett and Don Was in A&R positions, Capitol and Blue Note could be front runners, particularly since both labels seem to be concentrating on "legacy" acts.

I am curious to see what happens!

I think Nonsuch would be the best option. It's an indie label owned by WB.

That said, my heart would still rather see them on Matador.
