Looks like the vinyl edition is going for about $110 in the US (on Amazon, anyway).

Wow I can buy a ton of music or concert tix from other artists who actually give a sh*t for what that 6 LP redundancy costs.

David...that would require some effort. Karen would have to put down the Jamie Lee Curtis poop yogurt and Stevie would have to stop dancing in her oceanside trailer long enough to organize such efforts.

On an aside, I wonder if she's graduated from hand tinting photos to icing her own animal crackers?

I'm not limited by needing to choose. I can (and probably will) do both.

[QUOTE=snroxman;1249559]I have to admit, I'd like to have some different choices for tracks on both the 1 cd and 3 cd versions. There will never be a perfect collection unless there are 10 discs.

My wishes for disc 1 would have been:
1. the "Dreams" collaboration from 2005, with Deep Dish, in place of the live version.
Here ya go! I don't get why you people would spend this much money on stuff you already have! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKANEy_-nM0

I give you permission to listen to this whenever you want.

Well, I don't have everything on this compilation, so this fixes that and gets me some remasterered versions to boot. That's why it's worth it to me, at least. I also don't exactly trust YouTube to be a very permanent media source.

I agree with you on Dreams, though maybe a new mix instead?, and one of those dance mixes of Stand Back would have been fun, in addition to the stuff I mentioned in the other thread: Not Fade Away, It's so Easy, I Pretend, Touched By An Angel. The longer B-side version of Planets would have been nice too.

These are minor quibbles to me though.

The extended Planets of the Universe and Midnight Wind would have been great choices.

If I’m not mistaken at least this is the first time “If You Ever Did Believe” is being included on a Stevie compilation, as well as that version of “Crystal”.

Right but you can get it on the Pratical Magic soundtrack.

I’m just happy it’s finally being acknowledged

Ditto. Love both tracks and her solo Crystal is my favourite version of the 3

Her voice is awful in it. Lindsey on lead was perfection. Maybe if she would of sung it when she still had a voice.

Agreed, it was early in her vocal coaching years and man, she bawls those lyrics out and Sheryl's production just makes it worse. The orchestral music in the long fade out is fantastic, though...
