Default With all this talk of Fleetwood Mac avoiding political statements...

Help me indulge in some fluff.

If Fleetwood Mac were elected to the White House, what would life on Pennsylvania Avenue be like? (I'm taking a few liberties since three members of the band were not born in America, but...)

President Nicks would schedule the State of the Union Address at 2:00 in the morning, and only then if the stars looked right. The Oval Office would have a blue lamp on the desk, Air Force 1 would be loaded with candles and incense, and the Congressional Medal of Honor would be in the shape of a crescent moon (awarded posthumously to Dr. Atkins). Sheryl Crow would be VP.

President J. McVie would put the penguin on the tail side of the quarter. He would allow no press conferences (or neck ties, only baseball caps).

President Buckingham would alienate any spin doctor who advised him to tone things down (regarding both his hair and opinions) in order to be more appealing to the mainstream.

President C. McVie would resign without any explanation to the public.

President Fleetwood would use the internet to charge people who wish to spend the night in the Lincoln bedroom. (Most would pay a fortune and then be turned away at the door.)

Please add to my list!

- Jake
