Default A couple of MFBB videos.....

I'd REALLY love to have something NEW to post from the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band , but at least I found a couple of newly-uploaded things on youtube (both from 2008).

"Love That Burns" from the Blue Again DVD:

And from the fall tour of 2008, this performance of "World Turning" complete with Mick's 3 1/2 minute drum orgy:

I wish I knew what happened to this band. After the Grammys and the short Australian tour, they just disappeared. They canceled the shows they had scheduled for the summer and fall, there's no word of recording anything new, and most telling of all, no new rambling interviews from Mick about how much he loves revisiting the old blues stuff.

Hey sjpdg! Heard anything?

Great! Thanks for sharing the videos.

Yeah, I remember reading that they'd aligned themselves for a tour with ZZ Top, but since they had to cancel & rebook some dates, it seems like the MFBB has vanished from the planet.

Time to do some sleuthing.

Nothing yet. I've got a feeler out but so far nothing. I'll keep you posted.

Would love nothing better than to tell you there's something on the horizon. I'm dying for a new MFBB disc.
