Default Feel About You.

Ok.. I'm loving everything about this new release, the making of the album video , the first three songs. I can't get this song out of my head. The line " That's how I Feel About you" is up there with ......

Never Take your Love Away....
You Will never get Away....Never get Away..
Don't Tell Me That You Want Me..

I agree. The chorus is really infectious in the Love in Store and Everywhere are.

And when she holds "niiiiiiight" in the line "You are the stars at night" I get all tingly the way I do whenever I hear her extend notes on Say You Love Me. The Way I feel may not be a classic like Say You Love Me, but it's damn good and it has all the feature that have made me love Christine all these years.

you know, i thought the song was too schmaltzy when it first came out, but i love hearing it as a part of that video. i've mellowed down!

Still really can't warm up to this one but Red Sun and Carnival Begin sound great so far.

Is the instrumental in the video longer than in the album track?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

It's probably just the same song with the vocals removed. I'm an editor and have done projects like this and mostly movie trailers. We will have our music supervisors request an instrumental version of the song we are using from the record company so we can have dialogue in the clear at certain points and not have the heavy lyrics get in the way. If you ask for it, 95 percent of the time the record company will give it to you especially if the song is fairly new. Also we will "loop" certain portions of the song if we need it longer. There are a lot of repetitive parts in a song if you remove the lyrics. Hope this helps!

BTW here is a trailer I edited and if you listen to the Dr. John song during the second half. you will see I looped parts and re arranged parts of the song to work around the dialouge. https://vimeo.com/141590034

I always thought it was one of her weaker songs on Mystery to Me, although with "Believe Me" and "Why" on the album, the bar had been set pretty high.

I listened to that complete album a week ago and I thought each song really stands up on it's own. And, it flows so well. I miss Bob Welch.
