Yeah I prefer these people as they are on the show, doing versions of others songs, then I love these people, once they're out in the real music world, for the most part I don't give a **** about them.

Curiosity lead it to #1. However, it did not stay long, if at all. Success is having an album that has longevity. His, I'm afraid, did not. It's ashame, too because he seemed like a nice guy.

I've never heard Sorry 2004.

I saw Ryan Seacrest on Ellen today and he said they're going to try to make this season a little different. During the semifinals they will have the guys sing one night and the girls another night. My favorite part though is still hearing all the terrible auditions.

I actually bought Fantasia's album. I'm glad to have supported her but am disappointed that it sounds pretty much like the rest of the R&B that's on the radio these days. I loved the gospel-y/bluesy/funk she put into all of her performances on the show. Though she was often over-the-top, she was always original. Most of that is missing on the album. I suppose it is worth it to have Summertime in my CD collection, however. She does that song brilliantly.

I liked Rueben back in the day mainly because he wasn't Clay, but he really has turned out to be incredibly dull (and sweaty). That silly I'm Sorry (2004) was terrible. I admit that I didn't take the time to figure out what the lyrics were other than "I'm sorry for 2004." What the hell does that mean?

At any rate, I am definitely looking forward to another season. I hope Paula has sobered up a bit, though by the looks of her Golden Globes dress, she hasn't!

We don't need another manicure sepsis accident.

I love Amer. Idol! Yeah, the first few episodes are the best - but from the commercials, it looks like people are trying to be bad on purpose - just to get on TV - in hopes of becoming the next William Hung! Did ya see those 2 guys doing "I'm So Excited?"

Simon was on Jay Leno last night. He said they don't show the people who go in to auditions and "try" to be bad. They pick the ones that think they are good and have no clue they suck. I don't know, though.

Seacrest said the same thing on Ellen. I think they weed out the obvious ones, people who are acting terrible just to get on TV, but some of them CAN'T be serious!

Ok. I'm in love with Regina. Pawning your wedding rings to pay for being there? WoW. She seems so sweet. I'm glad she made it through. It breaks my heart to think she couldn't afford a night in a hotel room. It brought tears to my eyes.

It said she was from Belpre, OH....which is like 40 minutes from my parents. I pass through there a lot when we go to the mall. VERY SMALL TOWN.
