Didn’t Lindsey say something about working with a younger woman sometime after he’s done with his solo project? So, he’s in contact with Mick AND talking about working with another woman. Hmmm....

I last saw Christine on the Buckingham/McVie tour abd at Classic East and didn’t note a big change in vocals (though wouldn’t be surprised if Brett did more of the keyboard parts). Was it noticeably worse than that on the 2018-2019 tour?
No wonder why Mick is cozying up to Lindsey — Stevie isn’t available. I would guess they could play theaters with Mick/Lindsey/Chris if they wanted to. It might be fun to see. But practically, I can’t see Mick or Chris touring without a big payday. |

I think the reality is, she 'retired' during the absolute worst years that she could have. I don't begrudge her decision and maybe she did what she had to do, but being out of commission from the ages of 55 to 70 wasn't particularly good as far as being able to actively tour at 75, 80. It's hard to be a recluse at those ages and then try to come back in your 70's. She wasn't staying loose and performing on stage during those years at all. I love that she came back. I loved that 2014 show in Pittsburgh. I love Chris in Fleetwood Mac - she is the balance needed between the other two songwriters. But, it's hard to imagine, in a post-Covid world, seeing her as an active touring member of a band like Fleetwood Mac. The rest of them aren't perfect, and that includes lying Mick and loony toon Stevie, but they kept going and kept active during those later years in their lives and I could absolute see Lindsey, Mick, and Stevie out touring after the pandemic. I just struggle to see the McVie's actually doing it - on a big scale. |

^Chris messed up SYLM at Chicago 1 of OWTS. I hope to find video of it. It was only the 3rd live show they did (Tour actually started with a private show in Chicago foe Sam Zell) Wish there was video.

That Pittsburgh show was magical and I'll always remember that vibe!
I think Christine's voice suffered from the length of that 2014/2015 tour. When I saw her near the end of the Buckvie tour in Northfield OH (casino). She sounded great, maybe because there was a break between the two legs. Her voice saw a drastic increase in activity from 2013-2019 and it wasn't exactly a gradual progression. I'd be curious to see how she would sound if you asked her to sing songbird today. She very well might sound better than mid tour in 2019. I suspect that her voice can't withstand the rigors of touring, not so much an actual decline or issue with her voice (besides natural aging)

But her return, particularly during the 2018-19 tour was largely a theatrical metaphor. Not so with her contributions to studio music! Another Christine album would be fantastic. |

I saw them in Los Angeles and Gypsy was so bad I actually covered my ears. Everyone with the exception of Neil sounded really tired. Neil was killing it. I don't like his voice on LB songs, but he was perfectly in tune and in good voice.

I didn't see them live but from watching videos, Neil voice just sounds brutal on Lindsey's songs. But, then on Hypnotized, I thought he sounded great. Of course, they dropped that one. |
