Default Ten Best Lindsey Buckingham Songs of the 21st Century

Ten Best Lindsey Buckingham Songs of the 21st Century
1. “Love Minus Zero/No Limit,” SAY YOU WILL (BONUS TRACK VERSION) (2003)
2. “The Right Place to Fade,” GIFT OF SCREWS (2008)
3. “Steal Your Heart Away,” SAY YOU WILL (2003)
4. “Bleed to Love Her,” SAY YOU WILL (2003)
5. “Red Rover,” SAY YOU WILL (2003)
6. “When She Comes Down,” SEEDS WE SOW (2011)
7. “Love Runs Deeper,” GIFT OF SCREWS (2008)
8. “Shut Us Down,” ELIZABETHTOWN soundtrack (2005)
9. “Cast Away Dreams,” LIVE AT BASS HALL (2008)
10. “Brother and Sister,” THIS IS 40 soundtrack (2013)

Inspired as I have been by listening to my 21st century Lindsey playlist and also by that delightful deep tracks career retro. I am going to try to put this together as an iTunes playlist and promote on my Facebook. Was curious how others would rank Buck’s extraordinary output in the last 18 years.

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

wow! that's a great list. i'll have to think about mine. for now i'll just bold the ones i absolutely adore in your list (see above).

love too that you limited it to only 21st century!
(although let's be honest original GOS songs were really from the 90s, even if they were released in 21st century)

Haha glad we have overlap considering we tend to favor opposite spectrums of Lindsey

Yes, I thought about eliminating GOS tracks because u r right — he modified his aesthetic with UTS.

I can't even try to create a top ten list at this point. I find it a little easier with Stevie's but not Lindsey. I think all of songs are masterpieces.

I can't believe no one has listed the magnificent "Soul Drifter."

Soul Drifter is one of my favorite songs ever. But the list is for songs released in the 21st Century (Soul Drifter released in 1992).

That's what I get for not reading thread titles carefully!

Heart Awesome output

Soul Drifter is my funeral song. I love it SO much.

It's almost impossible for me to list fave songs and ranking them is insane. Lol I love listening while making lists because it forces me to "listen harder" to the lyrics, music and vocals.

I love all the songs that are different from my list, but some I can listen to over and over, while others, while I love them...not on a repeat basis.

Also, some songs I used to feel meh about...I love them more as I age and have various life changes.

At first I thought this would be difficult for me to do because my all time favorite album from any artist EVER is Out of the Cradle. But then I realized that Lindsey really did come into his own post-The Dance, and it became almost impossible to narrow it all down. I tried to split evenly between projects and quite obviously this is too small a number to showcase his work. Hell, all of Under the Skin should be here. That album is otherworldly.

1. In My World
2. Rock Away Blind
3. Bel Air Rain
4. It Takes Time
5. Say Goodbye
6. Red Rover
7. Under the Skin
8. Time Precious Time
9. Cast Away Dreams
10. On With The Show

Honorable mention to 'Miranda' for obvious reasons.
