Hey Ledge friends! One of my friends is really sick and can't go with us to the show tonight. We are looking for someone to buy her ticket. If anyone is interested or knows someone who is interested in a ticket, then PM me please. It's 6th row center. She doesn't want an arm and a leg for it and is willing to negotiate pricing since it's the last minute.

Thanks ya'll! I'm looking forward to meeting some of you tonight. It's my last show for this tour and I'm hoping she brings out all the stops here, since it's where the album was recorded.

Have the most amazing time tonight, folks! I was in ATL last night, and she was on FIRE. So hilariously chatty, so happy, and in great voice. It's so nice to see her back in her element again.

Now, let's hope she fills that empty spot in her setlist with 24KG or Mabel Normand.

Enjoy!

Stevie Nicks good as gold at Bridgestone

In 2014, Stevie Nicks released "24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault," featuring new versions of demos she made over the last 40-plus years. That album was recorded in Nashville, and on Monday night, Nicks' 24 Karat Gold Tour came to Bridgestone Arena..

For two hours, Nicks enchanted the crowd with her solo material and a few Fleetwood Mac favorites including "Dreams" and "Gold Dust Woman," both from 1977 masterpiece "Rumours." Some of the night's biggest cheers came when, during "Stand Back," she broke into her trademark twirling, which, though perhaps slower than it was 35 years ago, was no less enthusiastic. Nicks accompanied her songs with stories from her career in rock music as well as the occasional prop: At one point, she came onstage in the cape she wore for her 1981 solo debut album "Bella Donna." Showing it to the crowd, she announced, "My mom was very frugal. She would say, if she was standing here right now, 'That was a very good choice in fabric...look at how long it's lasted.' "

The Pretenders kicked off the night with an hour-long opening set that interspersed classic hits like “Back on the Chain Gang,” “Don’t Get Me Wrong” and “I’ll Stand By You” with songs from new album, “Alone.” which lead singer Chrissie Hynde recorded in Nashville; the record was produced by Dan Auerbach, and features, among other local musicians, guitar great Duane Eddy. Hynde returned to the stage later for one of the night's highlights: she and Nicks sang “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” a track that Nicks originally recorded with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

After ending the show with “Edge of Seventeen,” Nicks returned for a two-song encore: “Rhiannon” and “Leather and Lace." The latter, she said, was a song Waylon Jennings originally asked her to write for him and Jessi Colter. The country music couple didn't record it, but Nicks and Don Henley had a hit with the song 35 years ago. .

Earlier in the show, when reflecting on her lengthy career, Nicks gave Nashville's struggling musicians a pep talk: “Any of you out there who have come to this city of dreams…don’t give up…you just have to reach out there and get that star."

This was my fourth and final show for this tour, here in my hometown of Nashville. While "Annabelle Lee" was still missing in action (no big loss ) she brought the house down with more energy and more power within her voice than the previous shows I'd seen. Nashville, she said, is like L.A. ~ if you're gonna be good anywhere, it's gotta be here! Because of that, she took a few more chances, vocally, and hit some stunning high notes that sounded gorgeous.

My funny story of the night was once again trying to get a picture or video of "Moonlight". At previous shows, my phone had either died by the time the song came on, or it was just being slow and uncooperative. I hate my phone.

Once the piano intro started and she came walking out in that fur, I immediately got goosebumps. I was six rows away from her standing front and center...and then I realized that I was the only one in my row standing at that point. She looked at me as she was singing and I got absolutely GUTTED with emotion. By the time the full band joined in to finish out the song, everyone had risen to their feet. I'm in tears once again. The song ends and I realize that my chance to get any of that song on film has been blown. But you know what? I don't care. It was a moment. It was a memory.

Another important note is that she was in an abnormally giddy mood the whole night. Almost as if she'd been drinking or snorting something beforehand. LOL! Obviously, that's not the case, but seeing her have so much fun made it fun for the audience. And more interesting for me, at least. And believe me, having seen her so many times, I can tell you that I've been to some Stevie shows where she's "phoned it in" and left the stage. Not the case in Nashville. She was ON!

~ Highlights ~
"Wild Heart" and "Bella Donna", but then...duh.
"If You Were My Love"
"Belle Fleur" ~ and I have to say that THIS song translates sooooooooo well in a live setting. It sounds exactly like the album!!!
"MOONLIGHT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The "Gold Dust Woman" crackhead dance
The "Stand Back" twirling followed by throwing the cape around her neck ~ badass!
The joy and fun that Stevie and Chrissie have while performing "SDMHA"

I could go on, but I'm still processing. And still a little sad that, for me, it's over. But here's hoping for a new Fleetwood Mac album (WITH STEVIE) next year and here's hoping for "Songs From The Vault Part Two" in 2018!!!

How cool...4 shows!! That's awesome. What time did the Pretender's set start? I have pre concert plans and do not want to miss anything!

They're slated to start at 7:00 sharp. In Atlanta, they started a bit past 7:00.

I was really bummed that I couldn't make the Nashville show although I've seen her and Fleetwood Mac here many times. I pulled a muscle in my leg and haven't been able to walk too well.

Sooo, I downloaded every song from the tour on Youtube in order and had a concert in my living room with plenty of wine.

Amazing setlist and I love how she seems like she's having so much fun!

Stevie can put you in a stellar mood even from your own living room.
