Thank you for posting this! (I was tempted). I've watched most of his videos about FM/Lindsey since the firing. He's slowly changed his tune on the situation. In the beginning he was all about this is FM being FM, no biggie. Then he started to come around when he saw the narrative wasn't exactly as stated and he heard input from fans. He's talked about the influence of Irving Azoff and now thinks it's a miscalculation to fire LB whereas in the beginning he didn't think so. I don't view this guy as any kind of expert and I doubt he's an insider---he's just a guy making a youtube video which any of us could do. What I find most interesting is that he's not a super fan like us here but he sees what's going on. Again, he's not an authority and I don't agree with all of his opinions. I just find it interesting that he's arrived at this point.

I'm really pleased with how things are going. I purchased tickets with a minimum amt of fuss, already received 1 of them in the mail, the email to claim the anthology cd came a day or 2 ago. Everything's rolling along just fine.

Meanwhile Johnny Marr is legit sold out at many venues on his tour. That's interesting since Lindsey often compares himself with Johnny in terms of how they are identified more with their respective bands than as guitar players in their own rights.

Johnny is probably my fav guitar player of all time.

Lindsey is obviously a better singer and lyricist, though.

I wish we would not give this guy anymore airtime on this site. He always has no idea what he is talking about.
I checked a few days ago... a full week after Lindsey's tickets sales went on sale in Miami. I think about 25 seats were sold. There even was a front row seat still available. Its a sad reality I have seen since 1984. Even though the Mac always packs an arena, the 2 other singers/players cannot even fill a small theater halfway for a solo show. I am tired of being frustrated about it so embrace it. IMHO it just means maybe we get more face time during the meet and greet

Its a sad fact but most people who attend a Mac concert are there for Stevie. Which makes me say they are not really Fleetwood Mac fans.

interesting about Miami. i've seen similar at just 2 venues - New London and i think another venue that's selling through the venue site and you have to jump through bunch of hoops to actually realize where to buy tickets.

for updates on ticket sales you can follow this account on twitter - https://twitter.com/LBonTour18

basically all meet and greets have been gone since the second day of sales, except maybe a couple of these hidden gem venues, where you can try if you were too late for your chosen venue. here are some of their posts showing the TM venues and sales at various time points in the last week -

San Francisco:

New Jersey (basically Philly show):

Knoxville about a week ago (i think it's mostly all gone now) -

i've seen now platinum tix showing up at some venues and they are above the price of m&gs, so that tells you something! also LB shows are not offered as end-of-summer $25 sales (unlike BuckVie last year), since obviously they don't need it.

I am sure he will sell out San Francisco. Interesting about Miami. If you go to Ticketmaster it does not allow you to see seats. I don't know if this is a glitch in the system or purposely done this way. You would think the place is sold out. If you go to the actual theater you can pull up a map of available seats. Almost every seat is available. The theater has not even hung out his promo poster on the outside yet. Its still early.
I remember what happened with Buck/Vie. About 3 weeks before the show they started a buy one, get one offer.
It would be sensational if Lindsey could get a few sell out dates!!!!!

Who is running that twitter page?

who do you mean as "he"? it's a fan acct trying to help fans find seats and also cheering on sales (and no, it's not me lol).

oh i didn't know Miami is on TM too! LB website takes you to the venue, but then you have to poke around to find the actual link to buy tix - which is actually here http://www.arshtcenter.org/reserve/i...ceNumber=27692

i've seen something similar for Canton OH - on TM there was only crap seats available, but if you went to venue sites you could actually get some great ones. now even on the venue website it's all almost gone.

Miami, New London and i think Boulder are the ones that have tons of tix still left, even some m&gs. i've been sending people who were late for m&gs to try those venues if they wanted a m&g.

one of the 12 original LB hardcores.

oh he will definitely sell out a good number of these! he did on OMS tour in 2012 (listed here are some of them but not all - i was in Wilmington DE and that venue was sold out http://www.fleetwoodmacnews.com/p/pa...uckingham.html), although tickets and m&gs were cheaper then, and the sales were way slower than this time around. Sands is already selling better for LB solo than it was selling for BuckVie last year. so all Mick's incoherent prattling to TMZ gets LB's name out there, plus LB's actual PR seems to be in way better shape then it's been any time in 2000s.

You quoted me too fast LOL Look and see, I removed "he" At first glance I thought it was Lindsey Buckingham. I thought it would be odd for him cheering ticket sales. I figured it out almost immediately and edited my post. You are just too fast

The Wilbur in Boston has a good supply of seats left in the back of the balcony and a scattering of just a few seats on the floor, mezzanine, and front of the balcony. For this early before a show, I would consider that almost sold out. It's the same whether you look at the Wilbur website or Ticketb*st*rd.

I purchased VIP for Boulder the day they went on sale & I was surprised how many VIP/M&Gs were still left when I checked (although the seats in the section right behind the M&G/VIP were almost gone.) There are also M&Gs still available for the shows in OK. It was a bit frustrating because I went on the venue websites as soon as they went on sale for the shows in OK and all of the seats around the front/center were showing as ‘not available’ except for the VIP/M&G and closest available in the center section was row M. I ended up with some in the side sections (row B & C) but on the far right-hand side of the stage. The Riverwind Casino still has a bunch of the same seats available which were available when tickets first went on sale. In my experience venues hold a lot of the good seats which aren’t VIPs and then release them after the other ones have sold.. Definitely recommend Boulder for those who want M&G...nice theater and short drive from Denver.

Edit: just checked again and only 2 M&G left for Boulder.
