Love the initial set list. I would replace “Oh Diane” with “Come” - the worst Lindsey song in the Mac catalog and a fittingly dreary bookend to “WISYA.”
Exactly, at least it would be different.

It’s amazing how one persons ‘nightmare’ setlist inclusions can be another persons dream.
Personally I’d love to have had a set that included….
Welcome to the Room…Sara
Bermuda Triangle (sung by Stevie)
What Makes You Think You’re the One? (Lindsey playing Kleenex boxes)
Mystified….any version (this could have been a killer inclusion with Lindsey’s solo)
When I See You Again (could have made a lovely alternative closer)
Oh Diane (acoustic…as a much needed alternative to Big Love/NGBA)
Paper Doll
Come

My nightmare set would include….
Dreams (yawn)
Big Love….acoustic (yawn)
Never Going Back Again….snails pace version (yawn)
Raspberry Beret (Stevie tribute to Prince)
Learning to Fly (Stevie tribute to Tom Petty)
Teen Beat
These Strange Times
Songbird (Stevie tribute to Christine with Stevie vocals/piano)

This is a difficult thread for me for 2 reasons. Any of these songs on anyone's list would mean these 5 are back performing on stage. I would do anything to have Chris back so she can play on any of my least favorite Mac songs and I would be in awe. Lastly is most of everyone's least favorites are mostly hidden songs the band would never even think about performing in front of an audience. For that reason alone it would be so interesting that I would be at the edge of my seat. After all the same songs they perform live again and again, the worst setlist would be awesome just for the variety. It would be so interesting to hear any of those least favorites performed live. Yes, I would love to hear Welcome To The Room Sara, and Whatsamata baby live instead of Dreams and Rhiannon for the millionth time.

Oh yes, I would definitely add The Second Time to my nightmare list… under the Pity/Whiny category.

I agree with you- even though we’re all naming songs we think we’d never want to hear live, we would all probably enjoy the experience. Oh Daddy is one of my least favorite Christine songs, but it sounded good when she sang it on the Dance tour.

I mentioned a couple of songs that I actually like quite a bit and would truly like to have heard live- Skies the Limit, What Makes You Think You’re the One, Paper Doll, for examples, but I think they might be difficult now. And I was including songs by Christine even though she’s passed. Since we know this thread isn’t reality based, I just took that as an excuse to include her as well.

Most people think that because she's a draw. There are less talented people that draw wayyyy more then Stevie Nicks. But, you knew that already.

That’s beyond nightmare, and into terrorism. Still, a nightmare set needs Stevie solo at a piano for about fifteen minutes. Maybe a lengthy reverse medley of Dreams going into Outside the Rain, followed by At the Fair and Desert Angel and Don’t Treat Me Like a Stranger (with Stevie gazing longingly at Lindsey), all strung together in the same key on the piano.

And how about putting Stevie on lead vocal for a rousing, full-band version of I’m a Road Runner? Really crank up the horns, too, courtesy of the Trojans.

I’m also thinking of a set-closer of Stevie, Lindsey, and Rick Vito all dressed in rhinestone cowboy garb (Rick in his signature playing-card jacket), tearing it up on an extended, boisterous Blood on the Floor. Waddy on steel string. Close out the performance with the filtered-in stench of cheap bar whiskey in the arena, and send folks home happy and dazed.
