Thumbs up What movies do you love that everyone else hates?

-Killer Klowns From Outer Space (the best movie to watch for laughs; the clowns kick ass).

-Straight Talk (Dolly rocks, period.)

-Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (I don't know why, but a lot of TP fans hate this movie. I love it.)

-Willard (cheesy as hell, but so fun to watch)

-To Wong Foo (Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes in drag!)

-The People Under the Stairs (Wes Craven must've had a bad acid trip when he thought of this one)

-The Man Who Fell To Earth (So weird and stupid that it just grabs you)

-Swamp Thing (I green guy in latex and Adrienne Barbeau's boobies)

-The Tommyknockers (I saw it when I was eight and loved it ever since)

-Children of the Corn (am I the only who gets freaked out by this movie???)

I didn't particularly care for FWWM, but I've only seen it once and that was a while ago. It was hard to watch Leland/BOB murder Laura. The TV show is my fave of all time tho.

I like To Wong Foo also! It was on TV not too long ago and I watched it.

Stephen King's It - I don't know if lots of people liked it or not. The spider was a let down, but the clown scares the shiz outta me!! I HATE CLOWNS! Also, the fortune cookies...*shudder*

From Justin to Kelly - Dangit, it was cute and I like the music!

Overboard - Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn "I just.....ate...a bug"

Sweet Dreams - Jessica Lange - great HBO movie about Patsy Cline

Clash of the Titans - Harry Hamlin - the incredible special effects hooked me, lol!

Legend of Billie Jean - Helen & Christian Slater (THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!!!!!! "Hey Billie Jean, show us your gun! Hey, Billie Jean, you gotta gun?" "Fair is FAIR!")

I'm sure I'll think of more later...

I think an Andrew McCarthy movie qualifies as a "guilty pleasure." "Weekend At Bernie's" all the way!!!!!!

And I? Love Cloak and Dagger. It's one of my favorite children's movies.

I agree with ALL of those!!!!!

Legend of Billie Jean...I have such good memories of that flick. The Billy Idol soundtrack rocked. My favorite in that movie was Yeardley Smith, the woman that does the voice of Lisa Simpson. She was so damn funny! I almost died when she pulled out the big scissors and cut off her braids. When the hell are they gonna release it on DVD?!

Well I know why you like it, David Bowie has a very memorable scene in it!!

I like the new Lars Von Trier movie, "Dogville" and everyone else I know that's seen it seems to hate it.

Not only that, but it was a good movie!

I want to see Dogville. The rumours of it having real sex got me intrigued. His last flick with Bjork was pretty trippy, IMO.

Did you ever see the Dogme film (directed by Von Trier) "The Idiots?" If you haven't seen this movie, you MUST do so post haste. There's a sex scene in the movie, and I heard that Von Trier wanted to hire porn actors so that the two characters would actually be having sex on film!! Of course the real actors refused to do that.

No, there's no "real sex" in Dogville, sorry to disappoint you!

Now it's on my list.

Ever seen "Caligula"? Hardcore porn with Helen Mirren, John Gielgud, and Malcolm McDowell. I rented it when I was writing a paper about that time period and was absolutely stunned by what I saw. It's the dirtiest piece of smut I've ever seen, but I couldn't take my eyes away from it.
