That's a damn good point! Stevie has said herself that she feels no urge to write when she's happy. Maybe she's simply been too happy this decade to record new material.

What's not to be happy about? She doesn't have to put out new stuff as long as she knows her bills are being paid by the fans who line up to hear the same 10 songs that she wrote 30 years ago.
