NOMINATIONS: Favorite Song

It's funny, my prediction about The Chain (7 votes), Rhiannon (5 votes), and Gypsy (5 votes too) being in the lead is coming true. Why has 4 votes so far and the others have 3 or less

I went for Rhiannon. It's the song that got me into the band, and therefore, it'll always mean that little extra something special for me.

I was just looking over the nominees and noticed the variety of styles these songs represent. There really is something for everybody here and with Fleetwood Mac's song catalogue in general.

That's true. Lindsey doesn't have song, but Peter has 2. Heck even Bob Welch and Billy Burnette managed to have a song in the top 9!

And the fact that "Why" has made it so far, where as Christine's other songs have failed is freakin' awesome!

A little surprised about Rhiannon. Didn't really do that well in the Favorite Stevie rounds...

Not much has changed, but Rhiannon (9 votes) and The Chain (10 votes) are neck-and-neck, and Gypsy is starting to catch up with 7 votes. Next up is Why with 5 votes, and everyone else has 4 or less. And Hypnotized and In the Back of My Mind have zilch so far!

Compared to the other rounds, this one was actually pretty easy for me: the Chain.
I think it might turn some people off that it's too "obvious." And yes, I've probably heard it a few too many times. But it's still a favorite of mine, and on a symbolic level, it does seem the perfect choice to represent the band.

I appreciate that a lot! It has been interesting and I myself have learned quite a few things about the Mac's songs from this experience.

OK so now The Chain is in the lead with 13 votes, Rhiannon is second with 10, and Gypsy is in third with 7. And, strange as it may sound, Black Magic Woman, Hypnotized, and In the Back of My Mind all still have a big fat goose egg

We still have one more day before nominations close.

I was noticing that "The Chain" is the only song from Rumours that made to these nominations. When I started this I assumed the Rumours album songs would do very well. Not sure if I was right or wrong?

More people need to vote!!! I know people are busy, but this is far fewer votes than the last round had!!

yeah the Rumours era nominations had 62 votes and I think one of the other nominations had like 70 something votes!
