Default Fleetwood Mac Xmas. Huh......

Almost every artist sometime in their life record a holiday album with their favorite holiday classics or their own written tunes.

I love to see Fleetwood Mac put their twist on those classic holiday tunes that we love.

Maybe this will get them in the studio to record new material.

Of course we rather hear some new rock and roll from them. But It will be worth it.

Please vote in the poll.

I absolutely hate Christmas music, so a big fat no from me. I don't think it makes sense for them either since they can't even get together to record a regular album.

I'm all down for Fleetwood Mac recording a Christmas song for some Xmas album that has songs from a bunch of different artists, but a whole Xmas Mac album?! No thanks! Knowing them, since they like to beat Rumours to death they would probably just record a Christmas version of Rumours featuring hits such as; "Ride Your Own Sleigh" "White Dust Snowman" "You Make Wassailing Fun" "The Train" "I Don't Want to Go (to Sleep)" and Earth shattering lyrics such as "You could be my Christmas tree, red green colors flashing."

None of those ideas sound bad. If they actually released the album you outlined, I would have to change my "no" vote to "yes."

I want to hear Stevie and Lindsey do "It's Cold Outside" and start off doing it perfectly and sweetly but then start bickering in the middle about how it should be done, ending with them screaming at each other. Given their history and how Rumors was built on the bands' various relationship dramas I think it would be really cute and funny.

Hahaha.Or HO HO HO.Thanks for input.I would love to hear "The Twelve Days of Fleetwood Mac Christmas" where all of them bickering how been its recorded.
Like Bob Rivers version of"The Twelve Pains of Christmas" .

APerfectLie Those are great titles.I would like to add Mick's version of Don Ho's Christmas in Hawaii with him singing it.

Who know a Christmas EP or album could be good for the Mac.That can promote it with a holiday tour like Mannheim Steamroller,TSO,Kenny Rogers and Rod Stewart.

I would actually love to hear something like this too haha.

My first, gut reaction was HECK NO! But I do like Stevie's version of Silent Night. The only reason I'd like to hear their take on a couple Christmas songs would be because I love the harmony of Stevie and Lindsey's voices oh so much. So if it was more BN than FM actually, I'd be cool with it. I'm not a fan of rocked-up Christmas songs... Something more along the lines of James Taylor, Carole King would suit me much better

Oh my that's funny!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a few Christmas songs as part of a Christmas album with contributions from different artists. However, I'd prefer a FM album with new songs over Christmas songs. I'd buy it though so whatever!

Cool

This poll shouldn't have offered the 4th option. Gives a skewed answer as a result. Do you want FM to record a Christmas album? Options should be Yes, No, or Maybe. That is all.
