The 70s and 80s radio station here does a "legends at 11" where they play three songs by a legendary artist at 11 am and 11 pm every day. Yesterday at 11 am they played Hold Me, Say You Love Me, then Don't Stop. The Dj usually tells a little story about the band or artist before the three songs, but I missed that part. So I don't know if the legend at 11 was Christine McVie or Fleetwood Mac. I'm assuming it was Fleetwood Mac, but they played all Christine songs.

Magnet and Steel by Walter Egan while watching Boogie Nights. I got the song on my iTunes and I thought "that sounds a lot like Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham singing backup."

While in Whitefish, Montana for spring break........we heard in the lift lines- Dreams, Gypsy (I was surprised by that one, not as common), Everywhere, You Make Loving Fun, and Don't Stop. All over the course of an amazing week of skiing. My husband and kids would look at me and roll their eyes. I would start to dance and sing.

On the radio I caught the end of Casey's Top 40 from 24th March 1984 with Got A Hold on Me at #10. A pleasant road trip surprise. A link to the full 40 list:

Heard Gypsy while I was grocery shopping yesterday. It wound up getting stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

Good tune. I don't understand why some people bash it.

I love it too! I've always considered it to be a Fleetwood Mac classic. I also feel the same way about Warm Ways, it's a true gem among all of Christine's songs.
