Default Please pray for my grandma

My grandma had a test done on Friday because they found cancer in her bladder. They also did a scan to see if it was spreading we still don't know the results yet. Please keep her in your prayers, her name is Evelyn. She is my friend, my shoulder to cry on, and has been since I was born.
She is 94, but to know her you would be amazed. She is active, wears sylish clothes, make up and jewelry. She is right as rain and very quick. She doesn't even look 94. I have always said she has nine lives. Whatever she goes through she bounces right back.

I will keep you all in my thoughts. I recently lost my 87 year old Great Grandmother from Germany, and this kind of reminded me of her......

I definitely will. Everyone on this board and the other has been helpful in my Mom's illness and passing, and it's been very much appreciated. It's a great little community. Personally I think they're all a bunch of winners!

I hope your grandmother will be o.k. Keep thinking positive thoughts.

Thank you all so much, I really appriciate it. My grandma is doing very well, no problems with feeling bad. Just a little weak after her surgery. But we still don't know what the test results are.
She does very well for herself, she can walk without a walker, has a great memory, and is all excited that her favorite movie is on TV this weekend...Pretty Woman! She's a Julia Roberts fan!

I know it's for the better but she is in assisted living. I just hate it that she can't be in her own house with her dog. On my day off from work I would go over there and spend the day with her. I feel almost sick sometimes thinking about it.
She's a lot of fun. We can sit accross the room from each other and make faces. She does have one thing up on me though...she can stick her teeth out at me!!!
And then, she told me once a couple years ago, she was doing laundry and said, "I need some new bras! But I need the kind with under wire in them!" I said "gees grandma." And she said back, "Well they sag!"
She's a character!

We got the results back for my grandma's test, and she is ok!!!!!! None of the cancer has spead anywhere, and the one spot in her bladder is dorment (sp?). They are going to give her kemo, that will take care of it. It is nothing really serious, and she will be fine! If I live to be 94, I hope I can be like her.

Here is a picture of me and her on her 94th birthday.
