What if you were Mike Vernon 2?
Knowing what you know now what would be the quintisential with Danny Kirwan Album
(remember that a vinyl album could be maybe 45 minutes and that is with considerable volume loss) but before he lost the record deal to immediate/Warner reprise. (OK maybe what if Mike Vernon still had control of them through then play on) you could make a double album. The idea is not just to lump them together but make a contiguous play list out of available songs including covers. (You know of course why they don't put covers on these albums: that they have to pay royalties so they try to stick to traditional and originals when possible or as led zeppelin did ,steal them and call them their own) doodyhead |

This is fun to think about but I think the thing is that Vernon obviously wanted BH to be a strictly blues label so once they wanted to branch off and do other things they may have parted ways anyways (see Chicken Shack). Still a fun idea though, I'll have to think about in the mentime but looking forward to seeing the other's thoughts on this.
