Literal Videos FTW!

I was feeling a bit nostalgic for the 90s, and went looking for some RHCP videos on teh YouTube.

In the process, I was reminded of the "literal video version" of "Under the Bridge" that some dude named Dusto McNeato did, and thought I would share.

These freakin' crack me up. Basic premise, if you are unfamiliar, is "do you ever wish songs just sang what was going on in the video?"

Well, this is what happens, and it is full of teh lulz:



That one is tied for me with the "White Wedding" one as my top favorites:





These videos spawned a ton of copycats. Most of them are crap, unfortunately, but the one for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is not:



It was through this interpretation that I was finally able to make peace with this video, because at least it makes some semblance of vague sense now.

This one also makes me giggle hysterically in spots:



Those just never get old.
