No we don't. The health service is not free, it costs a fortune. It's free at the point of care, which is an entirely different thing. Average student debt on leaving university is around £15,000, or about $30,000, and rising.

Well you bet wrong. Some people drive here that far, especially those who work in London and live outside, although not all by any means. But then neither do most Americans, I suspect. Our roads are clogged up to **** all over the country - I took 2 hours to drive about 6 miles this evening. And our currency is going just about nowhere right now, same as yours
Some people have no idea whatsoever what other countries are like.
