I really hope it is new stuff.....I mean there are a few songs that I liked, and some that I could even hear Stevie singing back-up vocals on.....but I would like to hear something different on this album, b/c I don't think that stuff would necessarliy be the best for a FM album....it had more of a DISTINCT lindsey sound than a FM sound...whatever that means....lol....anyway, I hope to hear new stuff!

For the most part, I think we'll see Gif of Screws songs by Lindsey. Perhaps one or two new songs by him will make the album, but I wouldn't count on that.

Yep, that's right... and for Spanish lesson #2... add 'de' to the middle of it for carne de vaca, and you have beef.

Laura.

Kristin, literally it means "cow meat." To make it grammatically correct, it would be written "carne de vaca," which literally translates to "meat of cow," or, a little less literally, "cow meat." For a more accurate translation, the English term would be "beef."

And though it is spelled the same way, I did not intend it to be Spanish. It is actually Portuguese. So how can you tell? You can't by reading it, but if you heard it, you'd pick up the difference.

Oh, and remember...

Oops... sorry... that didn't occur to me at the time. Spanish and Portuguese are so similar.

whoever said that LB "missed the boat" earlier got it right...
In recent years, a great many older artists have made a considerable dent on the billboard charts and have found a new audience, many of whom are younger listeners. They've done this not by putting out a record every year, but released new material with some consistency and also toured.
LB has hardly even retained his audience
and that is a shame considering what a talent he is.

Default You faithless 'fans'!!

What about the Rolling Stones?? They're like 10 yrs older than LB. And theyre doing a crazy tour. It aint all over folks. I find the RS gives me that sense of hope for FM/LB anyway.

The difference is that the Rolling Stones never stopped. Its amazing at their age that they are still doing what they're doing. That they constantly record and tour every few years rather than resting on their laurels shows integrity.
