Regardless of their subject matter, Brooklyn-based illustrator Jess Rotter’s magnetic drawings lean a bit ’70s, with their curvaceous lines, statement color play and print-like patterns that create an almost psychedelic vibe. The occasional appearance of guitar playing dudes with Jim Morrison waves do their part to add to the aura too. But that’s just Jess’ artwork. It’s her Rotter and Friends limited edition t-shirt collections that pay outright homage to the era’s rare music.

The most recent, just released collection, for example, contains the Christine McVie tee, which is actually a tribute to Christine Perfect, who is actually the same person as Christine McVie. Christine Perfect was the singer’s maiden name before Fleetwood Mac and her solo album, The Legendary Christine Perfect, provided the main influence for Jess’ drawing.

They have a men's T-shirt available, but it's monochromatic. Ugh! I want the colorful woman's version. So what's the difference between a mens T-shirt and a woman's T-shirt? I might actually fit a woman's T-shirt better than a mens T-shirt, to be quite honest...

The difference is usually in the width of the shoulders. Men's shirts are wider. They are sometimes longer, as well. And often women's shirts have shorter sleeves ("cap sleeves") that only cover a little bit of the arm. The shirt in that photo looks more like a men's style, actually.

Go ahead and order yourself a "women's" shirt. Nobody will know the difference.
