Oddly, Google says Lindsey is worth 80M.
Christine is 65M.
John is 50M.
Mick is 30M.

I would have thought that a big star like Stevie would have been worth double what her back up band is....
Yeah that is wrong. They had her at 75M for 15 years. She is worth a lot more.

Better than I expected overall, but I'm sure this has been fine-tuned (literally) in post-production for weeks.
Seeing that it is a Joe Thomas production is a worrying sign especially as I am a Brian Wilson fan, Thomas has been Wilson’s co-producer on and off for a long time now and especially when it comes to live recordings, he tends to over sweeten things to the point that they sound artificial. Though Thomas also did the Fleetwood Mac Live in Boston recording which I’ve always liked. So we’ll see.

Somebody mentioned that Vinyl albums are outselling CDs now. Not entirely true. The average vinyl album cost is up 290% to $28.00 each.
CDs still move more units. But more revenue was made off Vinyl because they cost $10-$13 more each.
It's still cool Vinyl is doing well though.

Oh no this looks like another one of those, "Let's redo every vocal in the studio and try to match it up to the live video of(whatever song)."

Why can't we just get an actual live concert recording?

Why can't we just get an actual live concert recording AND why would we they choose to obviously beef up the audience reaction to her waving and singing the new, cringe-worthy lyrics "you say hey hey baby"? Seriously, like the audience would go nuts for THAT? Uggh.

LOL! I'm trying to find myself in the audience, but I don't know if this is from the Pittsburgh show or not.

My guess is because she sounds awful these days. From the trailer she even manages to destroy a simple song like Landslide. This appears to be Soundstage II, which I thought was easily her worse release even with all the redos. Give me Street Angel or the Red Concert over these recent bad sounding greatest hit live concerts any day. Hard pass.

Red Rocks was the worst concert video ever made. I have an old article from Billboard Magazine written by the editors of that spectacle and they said how excruciating it was to produce that mess. That video and the FM Tango in the Night concert video are dreadful to watch. At least with this new video we will get update studio recordings of all these songs. For that reason I'll probably buy the version available from Target. But I have zero desire to sit in a movie theater for 2.5 hours to see a faked live performance, and that has nothing to do with covid. I don't live in pandemic fear like the majority of the world does, so I would go to the movies if I felt it was worth it.

LOL me too. I was there on the side of the stage

Now about the video. Disappointed but not surprising how everything is faked these days. Saw on this clip of gypsy the camera pans away way too many times for when the studio vocal does not match the lip sync.

Someone mentioned Red Rocks and Tango. I agree they are the worst video concerts ever. The lip syncing every song and how they are all made up differently. The far away shots shows actual live footage then zoom in again for lip syncing and the glamour face shots. At least on this one, Stevie is not staring the camera down again. That sh*t got anyone as hell watching Red Rocks especially with the different hair (live vs lip sync).

The live concert that was filmed for HBO and can be found on the deluxe and expanded Bella Donna is the best..she could still sing then.

Yes, that's my point. But I can still appreciate the warbly, growling vocals on Red Rocks more then her current voice. Even though Red Rocks is a mess, I must have watched it hundred of times, but it took me 4 or 5 times to make it through Soundstage ONE TIME completely. The CD for Soundstage is completely unlistenable. Everyone's taste is different, but I have no desire to hear her rerecord her songs in the studio or live with her current voice. Age takes it toll on everyone voice, but I really get the feeling she is singing in the nasal tone on purpose because she considers it her "trademark sound". After all her voice has won her 2 HOF awards, the leader of one of the most popular bands in the world, and the leader of women rights!

I liked How Still My Live, and Crash from the Soundstage CD, but that album was more of an afterthought. The real product was the DVD and they just through the Live CD in. I thought it was a weak attempt for a live album but there were a few things on it I really liked.

This is my problem with trying to listen to her. It's torture to hear her butcher these amazing songs. Even after polishing it up, it still sounds horrible to me.

I actually loved the song Crash until she did it. It's just awful.

LOL at this point I just assumed the only ACTUAL audio from the concert on this film is the band and crowd noise. Everything else has been re-recorded and glossed to the max.

To me it seemed like there have been two "phases" within the past 10 years of the decline of her voice:

Phase 1 - the shouting, as we saw strongly in the 2009 Fleetwood Mac tour. Sustaining notes was replaced with shouting

Phase 2 - although the shouting may have gotten better in recent years, now shes struggling to hit the notes in the already lowered-key arangements that she previously didnt have issues with.

She can abruptly reach up to those higher notes like she does on the "I'm getting older too" part of landslide, but those gradual climbs from a high note to a low note or vis versa are where her issues really reveal themselves.
