Maybe Buckingham McVie can open for Stevie Nicks? Or vice versa. Wouldn't THAT be interesting.

She would NEVER open for them, IMO. And actually, nor they for her.

Too many GIGANTIC EGOS for that stage to be shared in that manner.

Can you imagine the scenario where Lindsey
calls to tell Stevie that they're going to make
the album without her and are going to tour
behind it. And then he offers her a chance
to open for them.

I suppose that's as amusing as Stevie offering FM a chance to open for her.

More like too much money getting left on the table by not simply going out as the classic Fleetwood Mac.

I wasn't suggesting that would ever happen. It was a joke. I figured everyone here would get that, but I guess I should have been clearer.

I think everyone knew it was a joke. I was only pointing out how ridiculous the notion was...

Maybe The Heartbreakers could open for Fleetwood Mac and she could play a bit with both.

Have a good day!
What a trip. And thanks for the caps so that I know you mean business. LOL Ridiculous. Lord forbid anyone should expect any kind of respect or courtesy anymore anywhere. The fact that this continues to happen over and over by the same 3 or 4 people on this board is entertaining and frustrating all at the same time. You are right...you are not here to please me and vice versa. I have been a member of this board for probably 20 years almost. I have NEVER EVER EVER seen it sink to these lows before. I guess the choice is mine. I will move myself back to the Stevie board where I belong. Will you miss me?

Oh...and I hear the goat is taking her show on the road down under. Looks like no Stevie on a FM album. I know you are devastated. Maybe the new music will see the light of day when one of them kicks the bucket.

You seemed unwilling to accept any opinion varying from your own, so I merely pointed out the facts. Adults have varying opinions, and we're allowed to express them here. Thank god this isn't the old "Seven Wonders" board(fan worship, only). Have a nice day. Let me know how the Stevie forum is!

Funny, I have always though that you can express opinions without being rude and obnoxious. Last time I checked Stevie was part of the Rumours era of this band so I am sure I will be here from time to time despite the attempt at banishing me to the Stevie board. Have a wonderful and joyous holiday season. May the warmth of Christmas flood your heart and this board.

I wasn't attempting to banish you to anywhere. I don't have that power, nor would I want that power.

But it seems the Stevie to whom you're referring, ~that is "part" of the Rumours era~, REFUSES to record with the Rumours era members, thus rendering them an oldies act.

Artists produce. Has beens rest on their laurels. As far as we can see, only one of them no longer wants to produce...

This band is an oldies band since late 90s. Unfortunately bands enter the "oldies" status unbeknownst to them and it has nothing to do with their productivity. Unfortunately all the classic old bands that are still active nowadays still own almost all of their credit and fanbase due to their past productions and even if they make new songs they meet lukewarm interest both in and out of the stage.
