Default Gold Dust Woman live Philadelphia '77

Does anybody have a good quality recording of GDW performed in Philadelphia on 3.21.1977 on the Rumours tour? If not, would somebody PLEASE post a good quality recording of this song from the Rumours tour, where stevie is singing whistle towards the end. It throws me in a state of trance whenever I hear it. THANK YOU!

Having the chromosomes of a man who attended that show is wonderful enough for me.

Well, any other live version from the Rumours tour with similar ending would do.

Default "whistle towards the end"

I was at the Phili '78 show and don't remember GDW having the "whistle" as it does on the lp. I was disappointed since that ending always gets me! (But the BIG consolation was hearing SISTERS performed at the end!!) Are you sure the "whistle" was used live in '77?

Default "the whistle"

I don't known what to call it... it is a siren-like sound toward the end of the song and it does it twice in a row. Is it a guitar? I don't know what it is, but I love it when it comes up in the song.

I believe that's the English word for a very high style of singing. Mariah Carey for example used it frequently in the past. Stevie evidently was able to do it too.

I only listended to the boot once - but I do recall what GDB is talking about. To me it sounded like they wanted to get the live version sounding close to what it did in the studio with those noises at the end. That was the first time I heard it, so I figured that was just a part of the early arangement. I don't have any other shows to compare it to though, it's the only Rumours era bootleg I have from march of 77. The next one I've got is the Paris show from April, and I'm not sure if she does the nosies there.

This is from Madison Square Garden 06.29.'77. It's not as good and powerful as the Philadelphia one, but the quality is much better.
