Here are the two line up pictures used in the article:

I wonder if these were what was considered for the cover.

The article also has some pictures on the last page from that awards show where CAH said that Lindsey vomited.

This is the cover that was used and it ended up matching the CD cover that was glued onto the magazine:

And this is the comment from Lindsey on Christine from January 2013:

Quote:
Christine McVie will not be joining Fleetwood Mac's 2013 tour. She quit in 1998, and since a solo album, In the Meantime, in 2004 has retired from the public eye. 'Christine sold her house in L.A., got divorced, went back to England, burned every bridge she had,' says Buckingham with unexpected vehemence.
So, that's where I would have expected them to note, He was so unexpectedly vehement that he told us not to put that dame on the cover., if that were the case.

I think Lindsey didn't want Chris anywhere around the band because it has been said that she was always the one who scolded Lindsey or toned down his crazy antics-in other words, she carried alot of control and clout. When she's not there Lindsey is the one with the control and does what the hell he wants, especially since she's been gone so long. I think the dude is threatened by lil'ol Chris.Isn't she the one who slapped the crap out of him(years ago) after acting like an A-hole onstage? The drama is never ending with these guys....!

I still think it should be up to Mick as to whether or not Chris comes back (which we all know he'd have her back in a heartbeat.) its his band after all. And if that happened it wouldn't really affect Lindsey's role in the band creatively. He's been helming album production and engineering since "Tusk" and pretty much fully since "Mirage". If she came back, yeah shed be hot in the press for a while...but then it would be all back to Lindsey and Stevie. Lindsey would just have to deal with the fact that "mommy" is back and he has to be on his best behavior with Chris around and stop acting like a brat. Plus it would just possibly reignite interest for Stevie because she would have her best friend Chris back.

I was at the O2 on the 24th, the first London date where Chris didn't appear. My seat was much closer to Stevie (5 rows up the side of the stage) than I had anticipated, so I was over the moon, and blissed out for pretty much the whole concert. But at times I got this uncomfortable sense of control coming from Lindsey's side of the stage. I think the man is amazing and I do really like him, but there was something that made me feel uneasy. Anyway I was hoping I was wrong in my perceptions.

Well Chris didn't appear which was a bit of a disappointment, but I was so determined to not let that get me down. Then 2 days later I read that she was possibly willing to play this date and play more than one song, and the reason that she didn't was probably down to Lindsey. I was so p*ssed off about it! 20 000 people could have seen the magic of all 5 of them on stage, and for longer than 5 minutes, and I was thinking this opportunity may never happen again, given their ages. A few of the rants on the FM website were from me.

I really tried hard to understand Lindsey's reasoning, and tried not to judge him over this, but it was difficult. I know you shouldn't always believe what you read, but it did spoil the FM experience a bit for me. But I guess that's how it is with them, there is always the drama, and they wouldn't be Fleetwood Mac without it.

I would just love to get a chance to see all 5 of them together on a stage. I had started to investigate ways of getting in to Glastonbury (as the tickets have sold out) but I'm not sure if it will happen now?
