According to Stevie, there are 10 or 11 songs that she has written for the "Rhiannon" project. "Stay Away" and "Melacine" (Water Witch) have been speculated to be songs from this project but I'm not sure what has been confirmed and what hasn't.
Has "Angel" ever been speculated to be a Rhiannon song too?
I say that because wikipedia seems to think so: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhiannon_(song)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_(Fleetwood_Mac_song)
I know that Stevie said in more than an interview that the the lines "I close my eyes softly 'til i become that part of the wind that we all long for sometime" and "like a ghost through a fog like a charmed hour and a haunted song" were references to the song of Rhiannon and her three birds, as they had the power to heal and soothe pains.

Or it's just a mistake, but I can see Stevie being this matronly.
That is correct -- there is that exception. However, I don't think Stevie intended that implication, but I will accept your excuses for her.

You are impressively sharp, considering that English is your second language. Your intellect scares me!

Thank you but actually since in high school we study Latin and this grammar use descend by Latin it was pretty easy to think about it.
By the way I knew about this use of the genitive in English because I used to be an avid reader of Edgar Allan Poe poetry and he does extensive use of it in his titles. Since we know Stevie used to read Poe too, it's possible that she may use it too, maybe she doesn't even know or remember about its grammatic origins but she uses it anyway.
Or maybe it's a typo.

Stevie has an unstudied grasp of grammar. But that is a part of her atypical uniqueness. Rock and roll "poets" mostly get a free pass to bend or break conventional rules.

I'm not a big demo listener, but I just heard Joan of Arc and I would love to hear what Dave would do to it. It even has sort of a Eurythmics vibe to it, IMO.

It's already March - 2015 is almost 1/4 over. Can't wait for Stevie solo again!!

I would love her to record an updated version of At the Fair. I think it has the potential to be a really great song. The demo has a Kate Bush vibe to it.

I may be in the minority because most of the songs I want in a Vol 2 don't seem to be mentioned or talked about that much but I would love the next album to include:

Rock A Bye Baby
Jimmy Come On Back
It's Not A Dream
This Is My Cross To Bear
Tied Up (In Promises)
Castaway
Ooh Baby
One More Tomorrow
Christian/Spinning Wheels/Mirror Ball
Rich Old Lady/Mystical Love
I Call You Missing
What Has Rock N Roll Ever Done For You?
Chanel Chanel
Love And War/Mixdown
City of Hope/Charmed Ones
Julia

I like this list! I too would be a happy camper to see "Castaway", "Spinning Wheels" and especially "Rock A Bye Baby" get an official rerecorded release!

I've always had the impression that Jimmy Won't You Come On Back was not a serious song intended for release.

The story I recall is that during the recording sessions for Bella Donna, Jimmy was mad or frustrated or angry about some issue, so he walked away from the proceedings.

So the song was written on the spot to liven the moment; an impromptu fun joke to entertain themselves and Jimmy to get him back into the groove.

I can see this as a novelty b-side, but never as an album track. But it never even got that far. They had the chorus down, but the verses are a bit mucky. Has anyone been able to decipher them?

Not sure I want to hear it by her now, with the way her voice has changed. The voice she'd had on the demo is long gone. Just my personal opinion.

Well the demo was made about forty years ago. Of course she can't replicate that voice. Age may limit certain abilities, but it doesn't limit creativity. Stevie's latest album proves that. She has the capabilities to reinvent any song. If the demo was never heard, there would be no comparison, The "new" song would just be judged on its own merits.

While I love the that she revisited old songs lingering in her vault, and resurrected them in the present day, I am dismayed by the criticism that stems from her age. She's doing the best that she can, and she's still a viable artist, Wisdom comes with age. And that seasoned wisdom often holds more value and power than just vocal range. I try reserve too much judgement and be grateful just for the fact that she is alive, well, and keeps doing what she does.

Just my humble opinion.
