Waddy Wachtel and some of his sessions pals [great sidemen Danny Kortchmar, Leland Sklar, and Russ Kunkel] have made a new album. Its release is on hold because of Covid-19. Originally it was due out in November. However, their band “The Immediate Family” have released a single (which includes 5 songs) featuring Waddy on “Slippin’ And Slidin’.” There is also a great live version of “Werewolves of London” that Waddy and Warren Zevon friends will enjoy. Some of you might remember Waddy wrote the entire first verse. You can see the video on Youtube of Slippin’ and Slidin’ here:
