THANK YOU! We Greeny addicts are lucky at the moment.

It's the first time I see it. He plays "I Need Your Love So Bad" and "The Thrill Is Gone" on this one. I wish he would leave the first one alone (I felt the same with the with The Splintergroup version). It's great to see that he seems to be enjoying himself playing with his friend and guitar techniscian Mike Dodd. He seems much more vital - personally and vocally than in the years with Splinter.

THANK YOU!!!

Look at him enjoying "Need Your Love So Bad"
And what a solo on "The Thrill..."
I'd like to see him record an entire album of these stripped versions. LOVELY!

the thrill is gone is played in much the same style as the pvk 'whatcha gonna do' and 'little dreamer' era. i think mario was referring to that with regard to the 2 earlier mojo clips. here it's even more obvious.

seems like sanctuary recorded these 2 and the 2 mojo released numbers at the same time, now coming out via media 'exclusives'. hopefully there are a few more soon. all very wonderful. i like the spoken intros too. '... i had the good fortune to come by.' lovely choice of words.

i'm with dansven. someone give him studio time turn on the recorder. zero

well, I must say, I'm happy to see him in good health. But I also am "double" about this, but I've had that since his "comeback" (was it '96 when I saw him perform in a festival tent on the Belgian coast?) : I'm moved by the beauty, and the painfulness of his performance, since it'll NEVER be as electrifying what it was back then. And the change from that energy is like a landslide....

I have to say that his voice sounded stronger on this than when I saw him ten years ago. It's always good seeing Peter Green playing.

Question

Anyone know how to save this? I tried to download the flv file so I could convert to mpeg & burn to DVD but the method I use didn't work.

I tried "Debut Video Capture Software" to record the screen and it worked quite well [http://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/index.html]. (It seemed okay to me, but I can't guarantee that this is safe software so download at your own risk)

Streamed audio (quality) sucked, but that could be fixed... (I ended up recording sound separately, and mixed video and audio, in Windows mediaplayer.)

John
Also Norton has posted a download instruction on the second page of the thread "Canvey Island Sessions". I hope this might also work.
