Question Columbus

Ok who here is going to the opening show in Columbus, OH? I am still thinking about it right now. I don't know if this post belongs here or in Chit Chat. Anyway is there a forum that can be set up just for tour get togethers and stuff? I am so excited!!

I hate the fact that I'm less than three hours from opening night, and won't be able to make it. DAMN AP CALCULUS.

Hey Josh, can't you get a sick note? Maybe you can tell them that you have an "out of town emergency"

Believe me, if I would, I could. But it's not like it's just a test for my class...it's a nationwide standardized test. Taking the test is a course requirement, and depending upon how well I do on the test, I could be able to receive college math credits, and not have to take certain college math courses next year, thus saving loads of cash.

I'm sure there are make-up days for it, but I think the procedure for them is a lot different. I think I have to call different phone numbers to arrange a make-up, and I don't even know if I'd be able to take it at my school...who knows where I'd have to go.

As you can see, I've been thinking about the whole "sick" thing. But I think I've come to cope with the fact that opening night just wasn't meant to be. I just hope Pittsburgh and Cleveland will fall on convenient dates for me. The next two weeks are very busy for me, and there are only about five days that shouldn't be a problem for me.

I've been saying this a lot lately: why is my favorite band causing my such stress and anxiety???

Unhappy

I have been promising myself for a year now that I would be there on opening night. Wouldn't you know it that I have a final on that day? I am still making it a mission of mine to find a way to get out of the final. So as of right now, I will be there. I'm actually saying prayers every night that they push it back just one day to the 8th.

The only sensible thing to do is drop out of school!

When it comes to getting a bigger bang for your buck, "Rhiannon" has it all over AP calculus. The only sensible thing to do is drop out of school!

I'll be there. Josh! What do you mean you're not coming? I guess I'll see you at the Pittsburgh and Cleveland shows then. Are they playing at outdoor venues?

Also has it all over my "Extragalactic Cosmology" final paper, which is on May 7th! I'm gonna have to endure a whole month of frustration (no doubt reading all the intial reviews on The Ledge!) before I can take the first flight over!

I know...it's sad...I wish I'd be able to make it to opening night. If, for some reason, opening night should happen to change to the 8th, then I'm in. But the 7th isn't good

And I'm REALLY hoping to be at Pittsburgh and Cleveland. It all depends on the dates.

And no, they aren't doing outdoor venues. It'll be Gund Arena in Cleveland and Mellon Arena in PGH.

Where did you get this info from?? I'm 99% positive they will do an outdoor in Noblesville, IN.

It's been posted by someone over on Mick's board, and I know for a fact that he is a very reliable source.
