I liked the songs on the EP
I just think it sounded rushed if that makes sense. Like as if they spent barely a week working on it.
I also listened to the songs from the This is 40 soundtrack and liked them.

I like the EP songs too but it was obvious that Lindsey was writing in a way he thought would please/appeal to Stevie.

Miss Fantasy and It Takes Time has grown on me, too. I'm not crazy about Sad Angel or Without You.

This is completely different since the songs are largely cowritten. Lindseys songs were mostly my faves from SYW though, personally.

The only song I don't like of his on this album is WTWCT.. and I can take or leave BTLH.. The rest are great!

Not completely different, cause they all are nails-on-chalkboard annoying.

yeah, which makes me slightly worried for that Lindsey solo album that's coming out at the end of the year, because it's probably built on top of those songs they recorded in 2012. then again, he's been adding songs ever since, and even his GOS group of songs is very diverse, from fleetwood macy ones through very different much edgier songs. so i'm glad he decided to release those too and very soon. two albums of new songs in one year is definitely pretty fantastic!

i think Sad Angel is the strongest of the bunch, without question. but i do have a soft spot fro Miss Fantasy and It Takes Time. it was clear however that the release at the should have been just SA and MF, and the other 2 songs were haphazardly added the last second.

yes. as usual mitzo's pesky comments regarding Lindsey or his music are highly amusing.

same, WTWCT is really bad in my book, and Stevi's nasal additions to it make iteven worse. i also dislike Say Goodbye. but i think BTLH is high up there on the list of greet songs. of Stevie's i really only like Destiny Rules a lot.

I love the sound of the final product, but check out the McVie bass mix if you can find it. It's amaaaaazing.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I know we already said this initially, but now that the album and tour is getting coverage I have to say Buckingham McVie is a horrible name for them. Five clunky syllables. I can't even call them that aloud. Lindsey & Chris would have been better. Or even BuckVie, like we've been saying.

Two Perfect is nice.

My vote would have been for The Montagues, because a Fleetwood Mac album by any other name . . .
