Fleetwood Mac remixes
Hello, there was a post a few months back that had a TON of Fleetwood Mac remixes posted. Sadly, the links had expired by the time I stumbled across the thread and I wasn't a member at the time, so couldn't ask to have 'em reposted. So, if anyone could help posting them, I'm requesting:
Anything from the Say You Will album(I understand Peacekeeper in particular had a bunch of different mixes) The remix for Everywhere(from Tango, never could find this 12" single at any record store here) Any older songs that have new mixes(I understand Deep Dish and others have done oldies like Go Your Own Way, love to hear 'em) Lastly, I have the 12" singles for the following, but currently can't transfer 'em to CD, so posting these would be great:Big Love(Arthur Baker Mix), Seven Wonders and Little Lies(Jellybean mixes), and Family Man(AB mix, the B-side Extended Guitar mix) Thanks so much for any help! ginsu |

Houseonthehill,
I think I've got those two already(very cool mixes, glad to see it did well on the dance charts!) Thanks, though I'd swear I remember seeing that Deep Dish remixed some more Mac stuff, Big Love maybe? Sahara, That'd be great, and yeah, Tango In the Night had alot of cool remixes. I'm really hoping they remaster and expand it like they did Rumours, Tusk and FM. Between the remixes, B-sides and unreleased stuff or demos, those would be two very packed discs! Again, thanks for the help everyone! ginsu |

UndoingTheLaces,
Thanks for posting those! If you could repost the Family Man Guitar Mix, I'd still like to get it. And here's the older thread I was talking about http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=25194 I'd really be interested in the two Deep Dish Big Love Mixes, the two Go Your Own Way mixes, the Tin Tin Out Peacekeeper mix, the Say You Will Radio Mix and the Sara mixes if anyone could post them. Also, if anyone has the Wall of Sound version of Thrown Down I've heard about could post it, that'd be great! Thanks again everyone for your help and time! ginsu |

I think if Family Man brings up Isnt' It Midnight, then Isn't It Midnight must bring up Family Man. Try it when Yousendit is back up and running. If i'm wrong, I'll be happy to repost it. I, personally, don't think any of the Family Man mixes are that great. But the Seven Wonders and Big Love mixes are great.
Speaking of Tango remixes, did you ever notice that Stevie makes these little cameo apperances in both Little Lies and Big Love? That's what makes the Big Love mix for me. It would have been neat to hear how they would have mixed her vocals directly into the original album mix had they done it that way. |

UndoingtheLaces,
I always thought that was odd about the Tango mixes:lots of extra Stevie vocals on the songs she didn't sing in(or just sang chorus vocals for)(Big Love, Little Lies, Family Man), but the song she did sing lead(Seven Wonders)had NO extra Stevie vocals That made the Seven Wonders mix *slightly* dissapointing to me, plus the fact that we went from Arthur Baker(my favorite remixer)to Jellybean, although I still like John Benitez. Who did that remix for Everywhere that you posted? Thanks again for posting those(and if anyone else has the ones I requested, please post! ginsu PS. And looking at those links for Family Man/Isn't it Midnight, they're both the same Last edited by ginsu; 06-15-2006 at 12:36 AM.. |
