Nightbird and the slow version of All The Kings Horses are ones that immediately come to mind. The ethereal voices in Sara is another. Rhiannon. Long Way To Go. If Anyone Falls.

Great responses, especially Edge, StopDMHA, and Nothing Ever Changes (which also has a flawless Stevie vocal).

The version of All the Beautiful World that I meant, I'm not sure if it's the slow version --- it's the only version I know, I think. The way it starts with Stevie & the ladies responding to each other always puts me in mind of the interview (was it the Playboy one?) where Stevie says that she wants them all to sound like a female Commodores, calling to each other.

I agree with the songs above, but I have to say my favorite harmony is the Live IN Concert video of Stevie, Sharon and Lori at the microphone harmonizing to Leather and Lace.
LOVE IT!

Definitely better than the original, much as I like Don.

Heart

Edge of 17 and just about every song on Wild Heart have the best background vocals, IMO.

Bella Donna (the song) came to mind immediately.
I love the title track from TISL too ("I run though the grass, I run over the stones, down to the sea, show me the way back, honey")
Beauty and the Beast has gorgeous harmonies too - "I never doubted...your beauty..." Awesome!
