Default What pre-Rumours song are you listening to?

Right now for me it's Bare Trees... Love that song!

Funny story about that song. Back about 10 years ago, I was listening to a 1977 Philadelphia Bootleg concert and Lindsey was singing this song, and for the life of me I couldnt figure out what this song was. Guess I've lost my Fleetwood Mac street cred now huh?

As a matter of fact I'm not listening to FM at the moment. Right now it's Jess Roden (Play It Dirty Play It Class). But this evening I compared "I've got a mind to give up living" from the Warehouse (jan 31 1970) to the Fillmore West version (jan 4 1970) due to a discussion at YouTube. I prefer the FW version, but I also like Jess Roden (anybody heard of him? it's difficult to find material on the web).

Hello all-- I just purchased "Penguin" yesterday, and love it! "Night Watch" is my early favorite, but Christine has 3 strong songs! Best always, Madelow.

I wasn't all that thrilled with the Penguin album when it first came out, but it sure has grown in stature over the years. Now, I just think the album is just too short...it seems like it's over before I'm ready for it to be. (a total 180 of how SYW strikes me)

I'm going through my "listen to anything BUT FMac" period right now. Anyone want any suggestions for Allman Bros Band albums to buy?? I'm immersed in their stuff at the moment.

Dear ChiliD-- "Eat a Peach" is generally considered their best studio work. I would also suggest any early 'live' CD. For my money, they are still the top "Southern Rock" band. Best always, Madelow.

I've been listening to "Station Man" a lot lately (admittedly, from a live show featuring the Rumours lineup, but at least it half counts?)

Also been into listening to "Spare Me a Little" whenever it pops up on the ipod!

At the moment I find myself mostly listening to:

All over again (Warehouse 31.1.70 version)
Lemon Squeezer (Shrine Auditorium 25.1. 69)
Can't Believe You Wanna Leave (Live at the BBC)
Show-biz Blues (Then play on)
Jumping at Shadows (Blues Jam in Chicago)

Default Upps - mistake...

Sorry..."Jumping At Shadows" is from Boston Blues of course.

I also listen to "Drifting" quite a lot. I have it on a vinyl record called "Fleetwood Mac - The Collection" (something called The Collector Series).
